Livy · A guide for support colleagues

Read and sign a plan

Reading is part of the record, so Livy asks you to scroll through the whole plan before you can sign. Take your time over this, it’s the part that matters most.

Before you start. This guide picks up with a plan open in front of you. If you need to find one first, see the Find a support plan guide.
01

Open the document

From the document list on the left, tap the plan you want. It opens in the viewer. Read through at your own pace, you’ll see a note at the foot reminding you to scroll to the end before you can agree.

Livy Care Plan screen with the document My Crisis Plan for Nisaf Va open in the viewer. The acknowledgement bar at the foot reads I acknowledge that I have read and understood this Care Plan, with the note Scroll to end of document to agree. An arrow points to the document list on the left. Label: Tap a document to open it in the viewer.
02

The tick box is locked at first

Until you’ve scrolled through, the tick box and the I Agree button stay greyed out, and you’ll see ‘Scroll to end of document to agree’. Nothing’s wrong, it’s working as intended.

The open document with the acknowledgement bar greyed out at the foot, showing an empty tick box, an inactive I Agree button, and the note Scroll to end of document to agree. Label: Before you've scrolled through, the tick box and I Agree button stay inactive. This is by design.
Why the scroll? Reading the whole plan is part of the record, not a hoop to jump through. It’s how Livy knows a plan has actually been read, not just signed.
03

Scroll to the end, then tick the box

When you reach the bottom of the document, the acknowledgement box becomes active. Tick it to confirm you’ve read and understood the plan.

The document scrolled to Page 8 of 8, with the acknowledgement tick box now active and a cursor about to tick it. Label: Scroll to the bottom and the acknowledgement box becomes active. Tick it to confirm you've read and understood.
04

Tap I Agree

With the box ticked, I Agree turns active. Tap it to record your signature against this version of the plan.

The acknowledgement box now ticked and the I Agree button active, with an arrow pointing to it. Label: With the box ticked, I Agree turns active. Tap it to record your signature against this version.
Your signature is against this version. If the plan is updated later, you’ll be asked to read and sign the new version too, so it’s always clear which version each person agreed to.
05

You’re signed
