A red dot on the bell
A red dot appears on the bell icon in the top right when you have unread notifications. The dot is your signal that something needs your attention.
Colleagues can leave comments on any document. There are two ways to find them: from your notifications, or by opening the document yourself. Pick whichever fits how you’re working. However you get there, reading and replying works the same way.
When a colleague leaves a comment, you’ll see it in your notifications.

Open the panel by clicking the bell. A comment notification tells you who commented and which document and Person We Support it relates to.
Clicking a comment notification takes you straight to the document and opens the comments panel alongside it. From here, pick up at Reading and replying below.
When you already know which document you want to check.
Go to the Person We Support’s Support Documents, find the document you want and click the eye icon to open it.
At the top of the document, click the speech-bubble icon to open the comments panel for this document. From here, pick up at Reading and replying below.
However you opened the comments, this is the same.
Every comment left on this version of the document appears in the panel, with names, dates and times. You can read them all in one place.
Type your response in the comment box at the bottom of the panel, then send. Comments are visible to colleagues assigned to that Person We Support.
Once sent, your comment joins the conversation with your name and the time it was posted.
