A red dot on the bell
A red dot appears on the bell icon in the top right when you have unread notifications. The dot is your signal that something needs your attention.
Colleagues can leave comments on any document. There are two ways to find them – from your notifications, or from inside the document itself. Pick whichever fits how you’re working.
When a colleague leaves a comment, you’ll see it in your notifications.
A red dot appears on the bell icon in the top right when you have unread notifications. The dot is your signal that something needs your attention.
Click the bell. A panel opens showing every unread notification – including any comments colleagues have left on documents.
Clicking any comment notification takes you straight to the document and opens the comments panel alongside it. You can read all the comments left on that document in one place.
Type your response in the comment box at the bottom of the panel. Comments are visible to colleagues assigned to that Person We Support.
Once sent, your comment joins the conversation with your name and the time it was posted.
‘Read all’ in the top right of the notifications panel marks every unread item as read in one go. Useful when you’ve dealt with everything or are starting fresh.
Notifications never disappear. The panel has two tabs – Unread and Read – so even after clearing your unread list, you can find anything you’ve already seen in the Read tab.
When you’re already looking at a document and want to see what’s been said.
From the Person We Support’s Support Document tab, click the eye icon next to any document to open it.
At the top of the document, you’ll see a speech-bubble icon. Click it to open the comments panel for this document.
Every comment left on this version of the document appears in the panel, with names, dates and times. Use the box at the bottom to add your own.
