Reading your notifications.

Notifications keep you informed about things happening across your service – comments left by colleagues, documents updated, and some HR-related items. Here’s where to find them and what each one means.

01 Where to find them

Look for the red dot on the bell

The bell icon in the top right is where notifications live. When something needs your attention, a red dot appears on the bell.

02 Open the panel

Click the bell to see what’s new

A panel opens showing every unread notification. Tap any notification to jump straight to whatever it’s about – the document, comment, or item it relates to.

What you’ll see in there

Three kinds of notifications turn up in this panel. Here’s what each one means and what to do with it.

Comments

A colleague has left a comment on a document. Tap to read it and reply if you need to.

Worth your attention

Plan updates

A new version of a care plan or other document has been uploaded. Tap to view it.

Worth your attention

HR items

Things like documents about to expire or other HR-related reminders. These are handled elsewhere and don’t need action from you as a manager.
